Description
Daybreak Youth Services is the innovative leader in the treatment of teen addiction and co-occurring mental health issues across Washington State. It is our mission to provide hope and safety to adolescents so they may reach their fullest potential.  The Outpatient Co-occurring Therapist will provide mental health and substance use disorder counseling as needed for Outpatient clients and families.  The Therapist will facilitate group therapy sessions as well as one-on-one sessions with clients and families.  They are responsible for scheduling, documentation, and correct coding within the Daybreak EMR.  The Therapist will work closely with psych ARNP, medical, probation and others as needed to insure best possible whole person care is provided to clients and families.   
 

We are currently hiring a Outpatient Co-occurring Therapist with an active WA LMHC, LMHCA, LICSW or LISCW Associate credentials for our outpatient Brush Prairie, WA facility.This is a full time day shift position with 30-40hrs per week, offering competitive benefits and paid time off.

Outpatient Co-occurring Therapist at Daybreak facilitate co-occurring treatment services such as individual, family, or group therapy (focused on topics related to mental illness, or substance use).  Completes a Co-occurring assessment or whichever individual assessment SUD/Mental Health is required. You will also engage in community outreach through running educational classes, groups, or presentation a schools or other community partner locations. Along with creating client centered co-occurring treatment plans and update them using ASAM Treatment Criteria. 

Compensation:  starting at $55,000 annual pay and eligibility to enroll in our benefits package, exempt level position.
Education/Experience: Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
Certificates/Licenses:  current WA DOH issued mental health credential (LMHC / LMHCA / LICSW / LICSW Associate) and SUDPT/SUDP
Shift: Typically Monday through Friday with extended office hours needed in times of higher demand.

No history of crimes against persons, as per RCW 43.43.830. Drug screen and TB test are conditions of employment. Continued Employment will be based on the employee's Criminal Background Clearance by DLR/CPS.
