As a Housekeeping/Utility Support you are responsible for assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of our Spokane Inpatient facility.  If you are looking to make a difference in the lives of children as well as establish a rewarding career, Daybreak may be the place for you! 

We are currently hiring a Housekeeping/Utility Support person to join our Facilities team located in Spokane, WA. This is a part time position which is anticipated to be 24hrs per week. 

The Housekeeping/Utility Support person is involved in the maintenance, repairs, custodial services, and general kitchen help for our Spokane facility.  You will be asked to perform minor construction, assist with the upkeep of our vehicle fleet, perform grounds keeping, ensure our facilities are neat, clean, and sanitary for both our clients and our staff,  and assist as needed within our cafeteria.You will thrive in this environment if you enjoy maintaining facilities and performing minor construction work combined with a passion for mental health and supporting the life-saving work in treating adolescents from hard places.  

Compensation: Dependent upon experience, non-exempt
  • High School diploma or GED
  • One (1) year in a similar maintenance or cafeteria role
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of State and Federal requirements for fire safety and building codes.
  • Valid driver's license
Certificates/Licenses:  No certificates or licenses needed.
Shift: day shift, part-time, on call,with availability to provide support and assistance during emergencies
No history of crimes against persons, as per RCW 43.43.830. Continued Employment will be based on the employee's Criminal Background Clearance by DLR/CPS. Drug screen and TB test are requirements of employment.
